Cinematic storytelling requires well-structured stories with vivid, compelling characters. Without effective storytelling, audiences will not have the opportunity to connect with the story and relate to the characters. But how does one begin the process of creating a film? This course reviews the screenwriting process and examines the importance of storytelling to have a clear idea of the direction the story will take. Learn and apply formatting techniques to a story idea to then translate it into a screenplay for the big screen.
