Gaming and technology are on a massive upswing this decade, and Microsoft MakeCode is one of many tools bringing computer science to life for students who want to develop games. In this workshop, students will use visual scripting to explore the fundamentals of coding and create a short-form replica of a classic arcade game. They will select a theme and create original 2D art using a pixel art editor to personalize their game, make it uniquely their own.
