MUSICAL VIDEO
Editing
SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER - INTERMEDIATE
NOVEMBER 23rd, Tues
2:00PM - 4:00PM | Ages 13-18
Music sets the mood and pace of a film and may ultimately make or break a movie. Students will explore the power of images paired with music as they create a short musical video based on a track downloaded from an online music database. After downloading a song of their choosing, students will search for footage from an online stock footage website to create their musical video. The video should visually capture the mood of the song, allowing the audience to be able to experience the music with both their ears and their eyes. Students will finalize by editing their video using the free online editing software, Kapwing.
