Storytelling is the most essential part when producing a film. Without it, audiences will not have the opportunity to connect with the story and relate to the characters. But how does one begin the process of creating a film? In this course, students explore story design and structure, genre, audience, characterization, and dialogue as they translate their idea into a screenplay for the big screen. They will review peer’s screenplays, provide and receive personalized feedback, and finalize a polished piece. After this course, students will be equipped to begin producing film screenplays at home.
