Digital art and design go far beyond drawing on a screen. In this workshop, students will explore how designers and illustrators use Adobe Illustrator to create clean, scalable artwork used in branding, illustration, marketing, and digital media. Students will learn the fundamentals of vector-based design while creating original artwork through guided, hands-on projects. TThey will work with shapes and paths, color and typography, composition, and visual hierarchy. Throughout the day, students will experiment with Illustrator tools and techniques while developing creative confidence and problem-solving skills. By the end of the workshop, students will have completed multiple vector-based designs and gained a strong foundation in Adobe Illustrator workflows that can be applied to future creative projects, portfolios, or summer camps.

Learning Objectives
Create original digital artwork using shapes, paths, layers, and color within Adobe Illustrator Apply composition, hierarchy, and typography to create clear and visually engaging designs Export finished artwork for use in portfolios, print, or online platforms

Lora
Lora is a multimedia designer and photographer who enjoys helping students turn ideas into creative, meaningful work. She focuses on design fundamentals, storytelling, and experimentation through hands-on projects and collaboration, and is a Full Sail University film graduate currently pursuing a master’s degree in Media Design.
