About the Course
This week-long Adobe Digital Art summer camp introduces teens to branding as an experience rather than a logo. Students will explore how designers communicate purpose, tone, and audience through thoughtful visual design, motion, media, and presentation. Students will develop a cohesive creative concept and translate it into a set of branded assets. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, students will learn foundational design principles such as color theory, visual hierarchy, and typography, and apply them to digital layouts, visual systems, and environment-based graphics that support brand voice and intention. Students will also extend their brand concept into media by producing a short audio advertisement and a visual promotional piece using Adobe Premiere Pro. By working across design, audio, and video, students will gain insight into how creative teams build consistent brand experiences across multiple platforms. Throughout the week, students will pitch their ideas, participate in guided peer critiques, and learn how to give and receive constructive feedback. The camp concludes with a final presentation where students showcase their creative work and explain the thinking behind their design decisions. By the end of the camp, students will have created a collection of digital assets that demonstrate creative thinking, design fundamentals, collaboration, and communication skills.
