About the Course
The Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is a powerful group of applications used in a variety of industries, allowing artists to create digital projects such as logos, advertisements, video edits, motion graphics, and more. In this camp, students will practice the role of a graphic designer, in which they will learn the art of visual storytelling by creating their own digital projects that align within a brand that they design. They will work through a handful of Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop to create these projects. Students will start by cultivating a brand, using a brand board to develop and implement brand identity in every piece they create. They will look at examples of other brands, both successful and not so much, and will learn how to construct narratives and tailor designs for specific audiences. Each day, students will create engaging projects that communicate their desired messaging and will incorporate peer feedback to enhance their work’s impact and appeal.
