About the Course
Sound brings entertainment media to life. In this camp, students will explore how sound impacts the stories and experiences of films and games. Using hands-on experiments with everyday objects, noises, and audio tools, students will create sound effects for game and film clips, exploring how sound adds mood, personality, and excitement. They will step into the fun and creative world of Foley sound design, learning how to record, edit, and mix sounds to enhance visual media. Each day offers new recording adventures, both indoors and outdoors, as students discover how ordinary objects can make extraordinary sounds. Through these creative experiments, students will learn to combine creativity with technology to bring their projects to life.
Objectives

Bryan is a game designer and educator with experience guiding students through professional gaming and audio tools such as Unreal Engine, GameMaker Studio, and Ableton Live. With expertise in game design, development, and sound design he introduces learners to professional workflows while keeping lessons approachable and fun. He encourages experimentation, problem-solving, and iteration as students design and refine interactive media projects.
