About the Course
Digital tablets are powerful creative tools that allow artists to draw, design, and build entire worlds in one place. In this interactive camp, students will explore digital art techniques while creating their own original characters and bringing them to life through visual storytelling.
Throughout the week, students will learn foundational art skills such as sketching, line work, color, composition, and layering, and discover how these traditional concepts translate into digital workflows. They will experiment with combining illustration, photography, and simple motion, while also being introduced to how digital artists can shape and build forms in both 2D and basic 3D environments.
As their ideas evolve, students will build confidence in their artistic voice while exploring how artists and designers create characters, environments, and expressive digital artwork.
By the end of camp, each student will have a collection of original pieces that come together as a final project they can share with friends and family.
